SUPER for
Google Calendar™

Google Calendar Desktop & Bulk Move

There is no official Google Calendar download or desktop app for Windows and macOS. In two minutes you can install it as its own app — and with SUPER it gains the power features the web version is missing.

Google Kalender als Desktop-App für Windows und Mac: als Chrome-App installieren und mit der SUPER Chrome Extension um Multi-Move, Dark Mode und Clean Workspace erweitern.

  • Windows & macOS
  • 2-minute setup
  • No tracking, no ads

SUPER in action — the extension keeps working inside your installed Google Calendar desktop app.

01 — Setup

Three steps to a real app.

Own window, own icon, taskbar and Dock entry — no browser tabs, no third-party wrapper software.

STEP 01

Open Calendar in Chrome

Go to calendar.google.com and sign in. Chrome is the best base for a desktop app, because Chrome extensions keep working inside installed apps.

STEP 02

Install as app

Click the menu → Cast, save and shareInstall page as app (older Chrome: More tools → Create shortcut). Then pin it to your taskbar or Dock.

STEP 03

Supercharge with SUPER

Add the SUPER extension from the Chrome Web Store. It runs inside your new desktop app: Multi-Move, Dark Mode, Clean Workspace, and more.

02 — Upgrade

The app Google should have shipped.

A plain installed web app is only half the story. SUPER adds the features a native desktop calendar would have had.

F.01

Multi-Move

Select multiple events with Shift+click, middle-click, or lasso—then drag any one to move them all. No Shift needed while dragging.

F.02

Clean Workspace

Removes upgrade banners, side panels, and visual clutter—so your installed app feels like a focused native tool.

F.03

Dark Mode

Forces a beautiful dark theme with improved text contrast. Easy on the eyes, day and night.

F.04

Task Counter

See how many events you have today and how many are done. A small motivational push to keep going.

F.05

Quick Done

Mark events as done with one click or press D. Greys out completed tasks so you see what’s left.

F.06

Customizable

Click the extension icon to toggle each feature on or off. Multi-Move is always on—everything else is up to you.

04 — Questions

Desktop app FAQ.

The short answers to what everyone asks about Google Calendar on the desktop.

Can I download Google Calendar for PC or Mac?+

There is no official Google Calendar download or installer for Windows and macOS. Instead, you install the web app as a Chrome app (see the steps above) — it behaves exactly like a downloaded desktop program: own window, own icon, taskbar or Dock entry. Add SUPER on top for desktop-grade features like Multi-Move and Dark Mode.

Is there an official Google Calendar desktop app?+

No. Google does not offer an official desktop app for Windows or macOS. The recommended way is to install the Google Calendar web app as a Chrome app: it gets its own window, its own icon, and a taskbar or Dock entry — and Chrome extensions like SUPER keep working inside it.

How do I install it on Windows or Mac?+

Open calendar.google.com in Chrome, click the ⋮ menuCast, save and shareInstall page as app (older Chrome versions: More tools → Create shortcut). Then pin the new app to your Windows taskbar or keep it in the macOS Dock.

Do Chrome extensions work inside the installed app?+

Yes. The installed app is a Chrome window without tabs, so extensions keep working. SUPER for Google Calendar adds Multi-Move, Dark Mode, Clean Workspace, Task Counter, and Quick Done directly inside your desktop app.

Does Google Calendar work offline?+

Google Calendar offers an offline mode in Chrome: enable it in the Calendar settings to view your events without a connection. Offline support is limited compared to online use, for example for creating or editing events.
